Capturing and storing CO2 deep underground (Media release 30 Jul 08)

The release of the Garnaut Review and the government’s Green Paper have highlighted the need for further research into safe and economical technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, such as carbon dioxide (CO₂) capture and storage.

Subsea pipeline collaboration cluster

The Subsea Pipeline Collaboration Cluster combines the research capabilities of six universities and the Wealth from Oceans Flagship. The cluster will deliver science-based engineering solutions for the safe and economic design and operation of subsea pipelines in Australia’s deepwater frontiers.
